A carpenter/cabinet maker fabricates, builds, and installs cabinets. They are expected to operate heavy machinery such as a cnc, table saw, planer, and other various woodworking tools. They are safety conscious, follow directions, and pay attention to details to produce a high quality product.

Qualifications

• Competent in operating heavy machinery such as a table saw, jointer, planer, various woodworking tools, chop saws, various saws, drills

• Be able to read plans

• Read tape measures, add and subtract fractions, convert fractions to decimals and vice versa

• Communicate effectively

• Must have cabinet building experience 

• Driver’s license, clean driving record

• Must pass background check and drug test

• Desire to grow with the company

Preferred Skills

• CNC experience, anything from programming to operating; will train. 

• Construction experience

• Any formal training in construction/cabinets/carpentry

• Cabinet manufacturing experience

• Cabinet installation experience

A shop helper assists in fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom cabinets. They keep the shop and work environment clean and organized. They are also responsible for picking up materials, picking up/dropping off parts for paint, restocking inventory, set-up and clean-up on job sites, and aiding in installation of cabinets as needed. Looking for a motivated individual with attention to detail as there is room for advancement and growth through training.
